Meadowbrook Farms is a fourth generation family owned business with deep roots in agriculture and community. In 1888, the family started the J.C. Robinson Seed Company in Waterloo, Nebraska. The business started as a wholesale grower of open-pollinated dent, sweet, and flint corn. It later became the world’s largest grower of vine seeds, including cucumber, melon, squash, pumpkin, and gourd seeds. During the 1930s, the company spun off its vine seed business, focusing on hybrid corn seed production and forming the J.C. Robinson seed company. The family has since sold the company but continues to be active in farming and agriculture. In 2011, Meadowbrook Farms decided to get back to its family roots by growing fresh produce with the best taste.
Today, Meadowbrook Farms is actively working on providing high quality fresh produce with the BEST TASTE to you. We are constantly looking at ways to better serve our community and customers. We think it is vital to have access to best tasting produce. It is our goal to be that provider!
